Great App!
Now that I get it 😅
WebSSH is a very helpful app, which allows me a convenient and secure way to connect to my servers when I only have my iPad. I appreciate that it does SFTP and SSH, and allows you to use saved private keys.
Always fast and stable. Most of all it is a breeze to use
I recently switched from Windows to Mac. I don’t know any other SSH clients other than PuTTY. Unfortunately, I realized PuTTY is not available on MacOS. I tried all the work arounds, and I sort of got it to work, but it still wasn’t great. Therefore, I went hunting for a MacOS SSH app and I landed with WebSSH. WebSSH is soooo much better than PuTTY will ever be. It’s quick, it’s easy to use, and I love being able to open multiple SSH sessions in different tabs. This app is worth every penny and I was happy to pay for it and support the developer. I recently configured my three SSH servers to use SSH keys vs. password logins. I love that I can throw all my SSH keys in 1 folder (iCloud enabled) and then configure WebSSH to sync my SSH sessions across my Mac Mini and my MacBook. It’s brilliant! WebSSH saves SSH session in my iCloud and the keys are in the same folder on both devices and everything just works! I have to configure the session ONCE and then it’s set it and forget it! 5 stars!

Stop looking, this is the one you want. Sync everything across all your devices.
Get this. It’s good.

Moved from Prompt to WebSSH. I don’t use as much as I did with Prompt so could not justify cost. Using WebSSH I am not missing any tools in fact it has done more than the older version of Prompt I was using. Thanks for a great tool.
WebSSH is a great tool for accessing servers from my iPhone, MacBook, and iPad, with seamless syncing across all devices. However, I wish there were an easy way to export and import servers using a CSV file. Adding multiple servers can feel cumbersome, and the interface seems more optimized for iPad use, even when I'm on my MacBook. Overall, I'm glad I made the purchase.
Right out of the App Store, I plugged in my username, hostname, password, then let WebSSH create my SSH Key with the server, and voilà. Brain dead easy. I wanted to upload local files, directories so I tried dragging and dropping. BINGO! Wow, they thought of everything. Then I wanted to edit a .htaccess file, so I clicked on it, it opened in a sweet notepad-like editor, clicked on the check-mark to save, again a Eureka!! This app is the best thing since *NIX operating systems. Fantastic SSH/SFTP/Telnet app for the Mac. I’m using this on a MacBook Pro running the latest MacOS, 96GB RAM, 8TB SSD, and 1gbps Internet connection.
Great
I recently migrated over from the Wintel platform and was looking for a good ssh client, that was similar to what I was familiar with. When I found this one, it did everything my old software did and a little more. I’m extremely pleased!
This tool is an amazing tool to have for any sysadmin! With the free option you still have a ton of functionality to do whatever! One of the few tools I have actually purchased just to support the development.
10/10
You can make it paid directly in Apple Store not deceiving user into thinking it’s free to use and them surprise them.

I found that WebSSH works great. I was able to use it without any delay hunting around for secret decoder rings. The pro price is fixed and seems very reasonable. Server configurations may be easily stored in one’s iCloud Drive. Overall, product value is excellent. I would definitely repurchase WebSSH.
Since I found this app, I’ve used it on both iPhone and mac and it works perfect for me. Great app!
A change was made and now I can no longer use the app to connect to my router. The changes required by the app are not possible on my equipment. Thankfully iterm still works great.
It's a good program. However, there is a gradual delay in input. I thought it was a network problem, but there is no input delay at all in the basic Mac terminal and iterm. This problem is very serious, and it gradually causes me to stop using WebSSH and use iterm.
I don’t regret having bought it.
Out of all the ssh apps I’ve tried, this is my favorite: simple, straightforward, no cloud signup or stuff like that. The developer responded super quickly to a request I’ve had. One note: if you’re looking for the settings, there’s one menu in the app and another set of options in iOS settings app
UPDATE: The developer responded to my review with instructions on how to re-enable the algorithms. I definitely understand the security issues, but I’m very happy we can turn these back on! A checkbox could be even better but the current solution is definitely good enough! In my case I am connecting to an SSH server that is on a local trusted LAN and isn’t accessible from the internet at all. Hopefully they will update the client on that.
If you’re looking for a solution for SSH, SFTP, Telnet, and Tunneling, check out this App. It’s fast and easy to use. I’m very impressed with the quality of this product and the developer’s commitment to support and updates.
First thought: Expensive but no ads Edit: After a week or so of use, it's worth more than they're asking for. Very well built.
I have been looks for an apple like this for a while, that is nice to use and private. Highly recommend!
I’ve tried a few. This is still my favorite.
If your going to teach me what I’ve been trying to learn for years then I believe you better love coffee
太好😀了
刚用,好用,文件连接也方便。用一段时间再看。强烈推荐
The app is simple and delivers on what it promises. I appreciate the free version to make it accessible even though I ended up buying it. The only missing feature I hope they would add is to use a jump server. I use another layer of security for some machines and this feature would make more machines accessible to me.
I love it
very good
Easy to setup and use
I travel a lot and needed a ssh tool to be able to connect to servers and be able to do all my work on command prompt. Downloaded pro version and has made my international travel using this tool to do all my support functions remotely on my iPhone. Product gets updates and keeps getting better. It’s solid and works seamlessly over my vpn connections. Great tool and invaluable for admins.
The app was working okay but updated itself and deleted all of my saved sessions and keys. Good thing I wasn’t on the road and had to rely on the app when it failed.
Use it everyday for server management. very intuitive and overall one of the best options!
I was looking for a hacking app but I clearly don’t understand what to do or how to work this app like what is this mean purpose for this but ig I like it
The perfect SSH client for quick tasks on mobile. I especially appreciate the lack of unnecessary data collection a lot of other apps have. Pro version is great!
It insisted on me entering a password before it tried to connect, even though my server doesn’t use password authentication. Unclear from looking at the log whether it attempted key authentication after the bogus password I gave it failed. Uninstalled and moved on.
I used to love this app, it’s a year since I used it. Now to everything I try to use is locked behind pay wall. When I opened the app I had 3 servers listed, 2 I didn’t recognize with no host so I deleted. I tried to add new connection , nope not without buying pro version. I’m not using it for business. I was trying to log into a new 3-D printer I got. now it’s a worthless app that is being deleted.
This is such a wonderful tool. The ability to configure Tunnels in addition to SSH to servers is fantastic for remote work with customers. PLUS - Excellent support. Highly responsive
I just want to know who invented this software? Keep telling me to "please enter password"? My virtual machine is the default key login, the key has been uploaded, when the connection let me "please enter the password"??
I refuse to touch it. Sorry. Bye.
I do love it. By the way can include the traceroute feature. Thx
Will only SSH or SFTP and only on webSSH terms
